Join T2 Utility Engineers (T2ue) in Pittsburgh, PA as a senior member of our Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) field tech team. Using your experience, you will guide and lead daily field crew operations to assure comprehensive and accurate utility mapping.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Facilitates as the main point of contact with Client and Sub-consultant
• Coordinates technical requirements with "Project Team"
• Manages and reviews the performance of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget and quality
• Coordinates timely with Project Principal, and other division or group leaders and "Project Team" as necessary
• Leads and/or supports the preparation of proposals while coordinating with Branch Manager and other internal/external groups
• Coordinates setting up project details with accounting for billing and invoicing
• Reviews and provides comments/recommendations to Project Principal before final signatures
• Reviews and negotiates contract fees and sub-consultant fees
• Monitors and manages project accounts receivable, unbilled labor, billing review reports and provides timely input to Project Principal - this includes completing the Project Management Report
• Keeps Branch Manager abreast of project status and major issues
Qualifications:
• Experience Minimum eight (8) years of Subsurface Utility Engineering experience is required
• Basic computer skills, which includes MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Be familiar with electronic utility locating techniques and equipment
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings
• Ability to travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-own travel
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Be able to handle certain construction equipment including 95 pounds Jack Hammer
• Ability to walk two miles
• Ability to work outside for over six hours at a time
