Job Description:Substation Engineer Lead (Power Systems / MV Distribution)Location: Canton, OH (Relocation Available)
Seeking a hands-on Power Systems Engineer to support and improve a large industrial power distribution network. This is a plant-based role with direct ownership - not consulting.
What You'll Do- Support medium-voltage systems (4kV-35kV) across the facility
- Work with substations, switchgear, and relay protection systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and lead root cause analysis
- Drive reliability improvements and infrastructure upgrades
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and contractors
What We're Looking For- Experience with medium/high voltage power distribution
- Background in relays, protection, or substations
- Hands-on troubleshooting in an industrial or utility environment
- Electrical Engineering (or related) degree
