Description

Sargent & Lundy LLC seeks Associate 3 at its facility located at 8000 Regency Parkway, Suite 285, Cary, NC 27518.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects.
  • Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and solve a wide variety of electrical engineering issues.
  • Prepare reports that present technical and project information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements and S&L formats.
  • Develop career via peer-learning through sharing of knowledge with other experienced engineers by way of S&L's systems of process and associated "Communities of Practice".
  • Hybrid telecommuting permitted, 3 days per week in office.


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Plus 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or related occupation.
  • The applicant must have employment experience with:
    • Developing protective relay settings files utilizing MathCAD, CAPE, Aspen, and Quickset.
    • Managing multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
    • Developing automation settings configuration files for RTAC controllers.
    • Tracking project information such as schedules and expenditures against budgets, preparing status reports and client interface.

Compensation Range

$105,227 - $113,595
