How you make a differenceThe Director of SUD Treatment oversees administration, supervision, and development of SUD programs across assigned region(s). They collaborate with mental health and operations leadership to support a recovery-oriented system of care. The role identifies improvement needs, monitors performance indicators, and develops or enhances treatment programs and processes. The Director provides consultation to staff, fosters agency partnerships, and builds strong networks of community-based resources to support re-entry and discharge planning. They also conduct audits, synthesize data for quality improvement, and ensure effective delivery of clinical and program services.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee administration, management, supervision, and development of SUD treatment services throughout region(s).
- Collaborate with mental health and operations leaders to support a recovery-oriented system of care.
- Identify improvement opportunities, develop performance indicators, and enhance clinical and program processes.
- Consult with clinical and administrative staff while fostering interdisciplinary teamwork and external agency partnerships.
- Conduct audits, analyze data for continuous quality improvement, and build networks of community-based re-entry resources.
Qualifications & RequirementsEDUCATION
- Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, or behavioral science field.
- Bachelor's degree may be considered with independent licensure allowing SUD treatment and supervision in the designated region(s).
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years professional experience, preferably in correctional healthcare.
- Experience developing and managing SUD treatment programs strongly preferred.
- Multi-site support experience preferred.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Independently licensed to practice psychology, counseling, social work, substance use disorder services, or related field in applicable State(s).
- Current CPR certification.
