Responsibilities
Specify requirements and managing procurement, engineering and testing for Subsea equipment and software for primarily subsea controls systems including topsides equipment.
Coordination of Equipment preparation and testing for Offshore execution
Coordination of Storage, Preservation and Maintenance of Subsea Inventory
Engineering support for subsea operational issues including studies and coordinating procurement and testing.
Monitor activities at the Cenovus Subsea facility and manage interface with service provider.
Site Client Representative responsible for overseeing contractor work scopes and verification of component factory acceptance testing (FAT)/extended factory acceptance testing (EFAT).
Managing and facilitating component site acceptance testing (SAT)/site integration testing (SIT).
Participating on special projects and the Subsea Well Delivery process as required.
Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering, P.Eng.
Member in good standing or eligible for Professional Engineer status with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL)
10+ years of offshore oil and gas experience in Subsea Controls equipment and systems
Experience in Engineering design, fabrication and testing for oil and gas equipment
Knowledge of industry standards for offshore oil and gas equipment
Experience with offshore Subsea installation scopes
