Qualifications

  • Act as Site Client Representative to ensure contractor work adherence and testing verification.
  • Facilitate site acceptance testing (SAT) and ensure proper site integration processes.
  • Engage in special projects and contribute to the Subsea Well Delivery process.

Responsibilities

  • Specify requirements and managing procurement, engineering and testing for Subsea equipment and software for primarily subsea controls systems including topsides equipment.
  • Coordination of Equipment preparation and testing for Offshore execution
  • Coordination of Storage, Preservation and Maintenance of Subsea Inventory
  • Engineering support for subsea operational issues including studies and coordinating procurement and testing.
  • Monitor activities at the Cenovus Subsea facility and manage interface with service provider.
  • Site Client Representative responsible for overseeing contractor work scopes and verification of component factory acceptance testing (FAT)/extended factory acceptance testing (EFAT).
  • Managing and facilitating component site acceptance testing (SAT)/site integration testing (SIT).
  • Participating on special projects and the Subsea Well Delivery process as required.


Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering, P.Eng.
  • Member in good standing or eligible for Professional Engineer status with Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL)
  • 10+ years of offshore oil and gas experience in Subsea Controls equipment and systems
  • Experience in Engineering design, fabrication and testing for oil and gas equipment
  • Knowledge of industry standards for offshore oil and gas equipment
  • Experience with offshore Subsea installation scopes
  • Contract and facilities management experience
