Structural/Civil Engineer in
San Antonio, Texas. As a Structural/Civil Engineer, you will: - Support building-system design, installation, startup, and commissioning.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Perform field inspections and monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and schedule.
- Coordinate work among contractors, vendors, facilities teams, manufacturing groups, and project managers.
- Oversee structural steel, foundations, general construction, and site-installation activities.
- Support weekend work, planned plant shutdowns, utility outages, and project handoffs.
- Prepare field reports and communicate project status, risks, and schedule impacts.
- Ensure work follows project specifications, applicable codes, industry standards, and OSHA requirements.
This is a
full-time opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
The ideal candidate will have: - 5-10 years of relevant engineering or construction experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a concentration in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 2 years of construction-management experience.
- Experience developing design criteria for ACS systems.
- 5+ years of experience in structural design or installation field.
- Background working with automotive engine, transmission, or vehicle manufacturing facilities, or similar industrial environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, scheduling, and project-coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Teams.
- Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Autodesk Build experience is a plus.
Pay Rate: $53.50 per hour DOE
