Your New Role...

The Streaming Content Strategy & Analysis Manager supports the development, evaluation, and performance analysis of content across CNN's streaming ecosystem. This role helps inform strategic decisions around content investment, programming priorities, and platform performance by delivering data-driven insights across the full content lifecycle, from initial pitches through post-launch analysis.

You will partner closely with teams across Programming, Finance, Data & Analytics, Product, Research, and Content Development to assess content opportunities, track development progress, monitor performance trends, and develop materials that inform leadership decision-making. This role is ideal for an organized, analytical thinker who can translate complex data into clear strategic insights and is passionate about the evolving streaming and media landscape.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Content Strategy & Performance Analysis
  • Analyze content performance and audience trends to generate insights that inform programming and content investment decisions.
  • Develop analytical frameworks and reporting to evaluate title-level and portfolio performance across CNN's streaming platform.
  • Identify key performance indicators and emerging trends to guide content strategy and platform growth.
  • Maintain a working understanding of competitive activity and broader industry developments.

Content Lifecycle & Investment Support
  • Support the evaluation of potential content investments by helping develop strategic and financial rationale for programming initiatives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of materials used in content investment and programming decision discussions with leadership.
  • Track content pipeline updates and support reporting on the progress and outcomes of content decisions.
  • Assist in post-launch performance reviews and analyses to evaluate results against original strategic expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Partner with Data & Analytics, Finance, Programming, Research, Product, and Content Development to support content strategy initiatives.
  • Help build tools, processes, and reporting that improve visibility into platform performance and content insights.
  • Support internal stakeholders in understanding platform performance and identifying opportunities to improve audience engagement.
  • Manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, board presentations, and other leadership meetings.

Qualifications & Experience...

Required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, FP&A, business development, or similar analytical roles. Experience in media and entertainment and or direct-to-consumer businesses preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong ability to synthesize analytical outputs, identify the "so what," develop early hypotheses, and propose next lines of inquiry.
  • Proven experience creating executive-ready presentations and strategic materials, with exceptional attention to detail and strong visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and diplomatic, with experience working across cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working directly with or in support of executive-level stakeholders.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,018.00 - $130,034.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
