You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Industry Business leaders to develop and execute strategies that resonate with customers and position Autodesk as a leader in Building Engineering.

You will also represent Autodesk through customer councils, executive engagements, and industry forums across diverse regional markets and customer segments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive the strategic GTM plan (short- and long-term) for Building Engineering (MEP + Structures) across North America
  • Collaborate with Industry Strategy peers to shape the broader AEC strategy and advance cross-industry initiatives
  • Lead market research and analysis, synthesizing customer feedback and industry trends across MEP systems and Structural engineering
  • Influence and align Product, Marketing, and Sales teams on growth strategies, including GTM approaches for new products and platforms
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to leadership, including Strategic Plans and Opportunity Proposals
  • Engage customers and industry stakeholders through executive briefings, customer councils, industry events, working groups, and media engagements
  • Lead strategic partnerships and contribute to M&A strategy and execution aligned with Building Engineering priorities

  • Strategy or management consulting experience (top-tier firm or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong proficiency in developing executive-level presentations and performing advanced data analysis
  • Proven ability to drive outcomes in a matrixed organization through cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and engaging with customers, partners, and industry leaders
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or related field); MBA a plus
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% for customer and industry engagement

The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of solving complex industry challenges
  • Executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Passion for technology and understanding of trends shaping Building Engineering
  • Recognized expertise in MEP and/or Structural engineering, with the ability to operate across both domains
