What You Will DoAs a
Strategy & Business Transformation Consultant, you will provide business transformation and program strategy support for an emergency management client. Our management consulting professionals help our clients identify, evaluate, and solve some of their most complex challenges, assisting them in achieving their strategic goals and objectives to fulfill their mission and comply with Federal laws and regulations. The candidate must be adaptable and able to navigate teams through complex organizational dynamics, while recognizing client needs and challenges as they arise. Individuals will engage in a diverse set of project-specific tasks covering a broad set of
business transformation and strategic capabilities.
Duties will include: - Document existing business processes and support development of new processes to improve the operations of an organization
- Develop recommendations for streamlining numerous business processes/operations
- Support the development of a unified program strategy leveraging best practices, new ideas, and lessons learned from previous engagements
- Present insights and recommendations for client prioritization and investment
- Support implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term approved recommendations
- Support a team with consolidating and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to support data-driven decision-making
- Support processes to monitor, assess, and report on progress towards goals outlined in the unified program strategy
What You Will Need - Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- TWO (2) years of experience in management, strategy, business process improvement, policy or relevant field
What Would Be Nice to Have - Ability to execute across a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Experience in consulting
- Direct experience or familiarity with FEMA or emergency management
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
