Job Description
Responsible for driving standardization of medical and surgical products used in Atlantic Health System. Manages efforts to implement product standardization and influence product utilization across the entire organization in order to secure the investment of pricing at the lowest possible cost.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Leads value analysis process to drive actions which achieve operational goals and financial targets utilizing a consistent data driven collaborative approach.
• Partners with team members of strategic sourcing in contract negotiations.
• Researches and analyzes new opportunities, investigates and analyzes new and changing technologies and market trends.
• Creates, maintains, and monitors vendor related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Establishes credentialing requirements based on vendor categories in tandem with all AHS policies.
• Represents strategic sourcing organization to physicians and clinical staff; champions the execution of best practice initiatives by Atlantic Health clinical staff.
• Supports supply chain processes and the supply-chain systems.
• Implements and manages Tissue Tracking software applications.
• Creates, reviews, and maintains Strategic Sourcing policies and procedures in full compliance with AHS policies and procedures adhering to industry standards and within prescribed standards of care.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare professional setting with clinical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading value analysis committees or clinical product evaluation teams.

Extensive Clinical Experience
