Responsible for co-developing vision and strategy on quality and safety outcomes and formally representing AdventHealth services to internal and external parties. This position measures, analyzes, and improves strategically selected outcomes, experience, and the cost of care. Additionally, this role provides strategic support for the portfolio of Care Setting projects. In addition, this position actively participates in outstanding customer service. Responsibilities for this role include maintaining respectful relationships with all individuals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This role contributes to the overall effectiveness of the department through diligent and accurate performance of assigned duties.
- Evaluates and manages strategic plans, developing priorities, determining structure, and defining approaches for clinical quality and outcomes.
- Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to conduct analysis and develop key deliverables for governance and planning meetings.
- Presents strategic information, including analysis of existing initiatives and progress towards completion, to staff and operational leaders.
- Identifies and proposes potential projects aligned with strategic objectives.
- Analyzes performance improvement data to identify quality concerns, practice patterns, and areas for process improvement.
- Utilizes knowledge of standards, survey methodology, and related tools to ensure regulatory and accreditation readiness.
- Designs, establishes, and maintains organizational structure and staffing to accomplish goals and objectives; recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff.
- Manages performance, coaching, discipline, engagement, and talent management of the team.
- Manages recruitment, retention, training, scheduling, and competence of staff; coordinates education opportunities within the system and community.
- Serves as a resource to the multi-disciplinary team, answering questions and clarifying guidelines; conducts routine section meetings and educational sessions.
- Exercises independent decision-making to identify, plan, and execute goals; adapts to departmental changes and prioritizes multiple projects.
- Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Expertise in healthcare systems and quality improvement processes [Required]

Education: Field of Study: - in a Business , IT or Healthcare related discipline
Work Experience: - 1+ year of experience in process improvement and project management [Preferred]
- 2+ years experience in a healthcare area and/or related area [Required]
- Experience in accreditation surveys such as Joint Commission or DNV [Preferred]
- Experience interacting with Medical Staff, Senior Leadership, and clinical staff [Preferred]
- Experience with Mind Genius, Visio, and other planning and presentation software [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications: - Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) [Preferred]
