Standard Job Description

This role will be responsible for comprehensive analysis of the RMS portfolio leveraging the value creation framework. This individual will identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations to both Line-of-Business (LoB) partners and RMS leadership. This role blends deep quantitative expertise with strong communication skills to influence strategic portfolio decisions and drive optimal risk-adjusted outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Assessment
    • Perform regular quantitative and qualitative reviews of the RMS portfolio, including exposure, profitability, loss ratios, and emerging risk trends.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models that track portfolio health against defined KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Strategic Recommendations
    • Synthesize analysis into clear, evidence-based recommendations on portfolio actions such as underwriting guidelines, pricing adjustments, risk-mitigation initiatives, and product enhancements.
    • Present findings and strategic options to LoB stakeholders and RMS senior leadership, highlighting implications for revenue, risk appetite, and market positioning.
  • Data Governance & Integrity
    • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with internal data-management standards.
    • Document analytical methodologies, assumptions, and validation results.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline analytical processes, adopt advanced analytics tools, and improve reporting efficiency.
    • Mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and continuous learning.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or other related field
  • Experience and familiarity with business strategy, project management, and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint


Desired Skills

  • 5+ Years Experience with portfolio analysis and modeling
  • Exposure to advanced analytics/ AI techniques and tools

  • MBA or other graduate degree in statistics, analysis, mathematics


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.
  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
