Job Description:

SUMMARY

The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for ITW ProAP across the automotive aftermarket service channels. In addition to strategy, this role is responsible for the product portfolio, pricing and marketing communication. The Strategic Marketing Manager works closely with the cross-functional team to deliver above-market profitable growth. This role reports to the Business Unit Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy: Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Business Unit through deep understanding of customer, technology, competitive and regulatory landscape. Maintain optimized product portfolio.
  • New Product Innovation: Develop Product / Technology Roadmaps based on customer needs. Partner with cross-functional team to commercialize products through the Stage-Gate process.
  • Marketing Communication: Create and launch 360-degree marketing campaigns. Develop compelling sales tools to effectively communicate value proposition. Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Talent Management: Lead and develop talent in order to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting BU goals.
  • Promote, support, and adhere to all safety and quality related policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities.

  • This position has managerial responsibilities.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's in Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years experience with at least 5+ years in Automotive Aftermarket industry
  • Demonstrated marketing leadership delivering results.
  • Strong Talent Manager with experience building teams and developing Talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team through market assessment, customer needs, and product creation that led to significant sales.
  • Success in building Value Proposition skills and capabilities amongst Teams, and in execution leading to financial results.
  • Proven application of analytical, planning, forecasting, and budgeting /financial skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
