Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Americas is currently seeking applicants for a Strategic Global Account Manager.

Job Location:

The candidate must be based out of Northern California / Bay Area. This role is semi-remote based, the candidate must be able to meet in person with customer(s) and host meetings at the local office. This role has a travel component of 0-10%.

The VISHAY Area Sales Team adds value by: Implementing the aggreged sales strategy and related sales and marketing measures to sells products to a range of customers in an assigned territory area.

A job at this level sells passive and discrete semiconductors components along with corresponding engineering tools, to assigned business clients, plans assigned operations, provide relevant data, information, and/or service.

What you will be doing:

  • Selling products and provides services from assigned VISHAY businesses for all customers in an assigned region.

  • Providing information for forecasts and planning, analyzes market conditions, building and maintaining effective network of stakeholders.

  • Spotting lead opportunities, negotiates proposals, and eventually coordinating the realization of assignments.

  • Implementing business and product marketing campaigns for assigned market as appropriate.

  • Acting as a point of contact to customers in all commercial matters, and thus ensures that VISHAY is perceived as global market leader with excellent and leading edge products and services.

  • Taking care for quality issues identified with the client, clarifying issues and initiating solvation.

  • Coordinating with colleagues outside of territory to provide forecast and help track revenue.

  • Working with cross function team such as Field Applications Engineers, Marketing, Customer Service, Inside Sales, etc.. to provide top tier sales and service to customers and business partners.

  • Establishing relationships in all levels of responsibilities within customers to bridge communication gaps, drive initiatives and customer requests to completion in a timely manner.

  • Having a proactive mindset and anticipating customer, business partner, and internal stakeholder needs.

  • Establishing strong relationships and rapport with distribution partners to help drive opportunities to revenue.

A job at this level:

  • Sells passive and discrete semiconductors components along with corresponding engineering tools, to assigned business clients (onsite or remote).

  • Plans own work and activities according to respective plans.

  • Approaches stakeholder actively to provide basic information and supports in utilizing organization's infrastructure or services.

  • Plans and coordinates services to fulfill stakeholder expectations, and ensures continuous optimization of all stakeholder related processes.

  • Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned

What you will bring along:

  • Education: Technical degree required: BSEE, MSEE preferred

  • 3-5 years’ experience within the electronic component industry

  • Experience working with Nvidia highly preferred

  • Ability to host / join meetings early morning or late evening to accommodate colleagues and customers in other time zones.

  • Travel Expectations: 0% - 10%

Salary: $150 - $190K base
