Role Overview:We are seeking a S
trategic Accounts Manager to lead
strategic account development efforts for key partner customers across the United States and Canada. This role is national in scope and reports to the Northern Division Manager.
This position is designed for a high-impact professional focused on building long-term partnerships and driving customer value through strategic collaboration, solution selling, and upstream engagement. You will play a critical role in expanding our presence and performance within major accounts by aligning our technologies with customer business objectives and project requirements.
You will work cross-functionally to shape project specifications, influence decision-makers at all levels-from ready-mix producers to architects, engineers, and owners-and ensure our solutions are embedded early in the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is growth-minded, customer-centric, and confident navigating complex, long-cycle sales engagements.
Primary Responsibilities- Strategic Account Leadership: Develop and execute tailored strategic growth plans for key partner accounts across North America
- Upstream Influence: Promote Master Builder Solutions technologies to architects, engineers, and owners to drive early specification and pull-through
- Solution Selling: Identify customer needs and deliver high-impact, value-based solutions using our Value Added and Strategic Product portfolio
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with technical, marketing, operations, and commercial teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends, construction pipelines, and regional opportunities to proactively position Master Builders Solutions
- Value Delivery: Quantify the economic and operational value of our technologies to support customer business cases and long-term loyalty
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the concrete or construction chemicals industry
- Proven record of success in account development, specification selling, and complex Business to Business (B2B) relationship management
- Experience engaging national or multi-regional customers and navigating matrixed organizations
- Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and data analysis tools
- Financial acumen to support Return on Investment (ROI) based selling and strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of concrete industry dynamics across United States and Canada markets
