Stock AdministratorSpecialist In-office - Orem, UT Full-time $80,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience Position Summary: SunPower is looking for a Stock Administrator to help keep our equity program accurate and employee friendly. This role will own the day-to-day administration of employee equity activity, support public-company reporting needs, and work closely with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and HR to make sure RSU earnings and related tax items are reported correctly. The right person will be detail-oriented, comfortable with sensitive data, and experienced enough to spot issues before they turn into employee or compliance problems.
Essential Duties: - Administer day-to-day stock plan activity, including RSU grants, vesting events, releases, terminations, cancellations, and employee updates.
- Work with Payroll to report RSU income accurately and timely, including taxable income, withholding, and payroll reporting support.
- Maintain clean employee equity records and reconcile stock administration data against HRIS, payroll, finance, and broker/platform records.
- Support public-company equity reporting, audit requests, SOX/control documentation, and recurring reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Legal and Finance on grant approvals, board or committee documentation, blackout windows, trading restrictions, and employee communications.
- Respond to employee questions about equity awards, vesting, platform access, and basic process timing in a clear and helpful way.
Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of stock administration, equity compensation, payroll, HR, finance, or related experience.
- Public-company stock administration experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of RSUs, vesting events, equity platforms, payroll reporting, and employee tax withholding concepts.
- Experience with Fidelity, E*TRADE, Morgan Stanley, Carta, Shareworks, Computershare, or a similar stock administration platform preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort reconciling large data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
- Able to handle confidential employee and compensation information with good judgment.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) coursework or certification is a plus, but not required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
