Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with strong Power BI and Power Platform development experience. This role supports the organization by analyzing data, developing interactive reports, configuring system workflows, and building scalable low-code solutions that improve business efficiency. The ideal candidate excels at transforming complex data into clear insights and streamlining processes through modern Microsoft tools.

This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant's qualifications, experience, and skill sets.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from multiple sources to support business decisions and identify trends, anomalies, or improvement opportunities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports that empower stakeholders with actionable insights
  • Build and optimize Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality analytical solutions
  • Ensure data quality, perform validation checks, and maintain reliable data models and datasets
  • Document data sources, dashboards, workflows, and configuration steps
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, investigate data discrepancies, and deliver timely resolutions
  • Support data governance practices, including security roles, metadata standards, and adherence to company guidelines
  • Assist with system enhancements, new feature releases, and ongoing analytics modernization efforts
  • Provide training and support for end users adopting Power BI reports or Power Platform solutions


Minimum Qualifications

  • Level 2: 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Level 3: 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Level 4: 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • Level 5: 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report design)
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow automation and low-code solution development
  • Proficiency with SQL or similar tools for querying and manipulating data
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and data-driven solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.


Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with API integration or custom connectors in Power Platform
  • Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Logic Apps, etc.)
  • Background in system configuration or operational analytics
