This role will be based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA or Dallas, TX

This is your chance to be part of the next generation Strategy, Insights, and Analytics team of internal consultants to all teams across Hilton! The team ensures Hilton's strategy and customer experience are informed by analytics and customer insights combining technical talent with industry expertise to guide progress towards Hilton's goals. As Analyst, Advanced Analytics, you will support Hilton's Customers, Brands, Marketing, Distribution, Revenue, and Sales organizations, with special support for the executive leadership team. On the Advanced Analytics team reporting to Manager, Advanced Analytics, you will work on projects focused on enabling key commercial decisions.

What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Collect and manage project requirements with team members and stakeholders.
  • Support test & learn initiatives.
  • Automate and maintain data pipelines powering Commercial Analytics and associated models.
  • Maintaining and improving portfolio of models as well as expanding current offerings.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Be the bridge between BI and Data Science teams and the Commercial Analytics team.
  • Enable other Commercial Analytics teams and other SIA teams by ensuring delivery of key data and experimentation products.
  • Weekly learning and sharing opportunities within the team to gain both business knowledge and enhance technical skills.

Projects you'll take ownership of:
  • Automate and maintain workflows which power the Commercial Analytics apparatus.
  • Enable the measurement of impact from specific commercial actions.
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • One (1) year of professional experience manipulating large datasets and extracting insights
  • Proficiency working with SQL, R and/or Python
  • Familiarity with causal inference including quasi-experimental research designs and time-series methods
  • Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA or Dallas, TX

It would be useful if you have:
  • Master's degree in economics, Data Science or related field
  • One (1) year of experience automating and maintaining workflows
  • One (1) year of experience with project management and associated demand management tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Understanding of AI foundations and usage
  • Experience in the hospitality or travel industry

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $67,500 - $95,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
