STARLINK COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (LATAM)Starlink is hiring a Regional Communications Manager to own Latin America consumer communications. This role is the single owner of Starlink communications across the awareness, consideration, and conversion funnel - including leads email, starlink.com, landing pages, messaging, and related channels. The manager runs LATAM as a country General Manager for comms: generating demand, removing conversion barriers, and turning consumer insights into live campaigns, pages, and in-market assets. The manager owns lead email, starlink.com, landing pages, ad messaging, and related channels for the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Own the monthly LATAM communications plan and a dated recap covering leads email, website, ads, customer comms, and retail
- Convert consumer insights (focus groups, interviews, brand tracking, user testing) into actionable initiatives, copy, pages, ads, emails, and experiments for Latin American markets
- Build and maintain nurture and abandoned-cart email series; ship market campaigns tied to seasonality, reliability, ISP comparison, pricing, Roam/Mini, travel, and emergency backup
- Track email-attributed orders, volume, and conversion vs. other markets; use results to reallocate effort and retire underperforming work
- Ship country-dynamic starlink.com pages for LATAM: stories, comparison, reliability, city/place, installation, and use cases
- Develop in-market ad messaging that resolves to those pages; test claims insights support and retire claims that reduce trust
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, economics or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in brand, product, or performance communications, with ownership of a market or region - not campaign execution alone
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:- Direct experience running communications across email, web/landing pages, and paid or owned advertising in the same funnel
- Proven ability to turn research (focus groups, interviews, brand tracking, user testing) into shipped copy, pages, ads, and experiments
- Experience building and iterating email programs (nurture, abandoned cart, lifecycle) with attributed order, volume, and conversion reporting
- Portuguese fluency (Brazil is a core LATAM market).
- Experience in connectivity, ISP, telecom, consumer hardware, or other considered purchases where trust, reliability, and comparison drive conversion
- Prior work in or for Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Andean, Southern Cone, Central America, or Caribbean), including multi-country localization
- Familiarity with retail or in-market partner communications in addition to digital channels
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:- Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel as needed
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. a7 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. a7 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
