Full Job Description
Staff Business Analyst for SAP Logistics Execution (LE), will lead analysis, design, and delivery of SAP ECC/S4 HANA solutions supporting outbound/inbound logistics, shipping, delivery processing, and tight integration with SAP WM/EWM. You will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and IT to optimize end-to-end logistics processes, ensure system reliability, and drive continuous improvement across the ECC/S4 HANA landscape.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own and evolve SAP Logistics Execution capabilities, including delivery processing, picking/packing, goods issue, shipment processing, output/labels, and integration to warehouse operations.
  • Lead requirements elicitation (workshops, interviews), document current/future state process flows, and translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Configure and support SAP LE functions (e.g., shipping points, routes, loading points, delivery types, copy control, packing, HU where applicable), partnering with technical teams for enhancements, forms, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Drive integration design and testing across SD/MM/LE/WM/EWM, ensuring seamless order-to-cash and procure-to-pay execution (e.g., deliveries, transfers to EWM/WM, picking/TO processing, and goods issue).
  • Define, execute, and oversee testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT, regression); create test scripts; coordinate defect triage and resolution.
  • Support cutover planning and go-live readiness for projects/releases; provide hyper-care and production support to meet SLA/availability targets.
  • Analyze operational and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce incidents and improve throughput and on-time delivery.

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, quantify benefits, and deliver roadmap initiatives (automation, standardization, compliance, and cost reduction).
  • Ensure logistics execution processes and system changes meet internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory needs (e.g., export/shipping documentation where relevant).
  • Collaborate with external partners, 3PLs, and internal technical teams on integrations (e.g., EDI/IDocs, interfaces, RF transactions) and monitor end-to-end logistics execution transactions.
