Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of work experience in development, testing and deployment of consumer electronics/embedded systems.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
- Experience in embedded systems, operating systems, and power processing.
Preferred qualifications:- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Android BSP, Kernel Drivers, Android Internals, Embedded Processors.

Responsibilities- Drive system power design optimized for battery life and thermals.
- Analyze and optimize the hardware and software interlock across the key components of the SOC like CPU, GPU, memory subsystem, and system components such as NPUs, cameras, display, connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on battery, charging and fuel gauge solutions and own system validation for charging. Debug and resolve battery drain and thermal issues.
- Validate for power consumption, develop tools and tests for validating and monitoring power consumption.
- Provide inputs to architecture teams on new SOC and system features and initiatives to improve power.
