About the jobIn this role, you will lead our Data Initiative team. You have the opportunity to have the influence across the entire Google Global Infrastructure (GGI) organization. You will work closely with the senior leadership of GGI, drive the strategic direction across various systems in GGI, accelerate AI adoption in the team to improve productivity and foster innovation. You will collaborate with various sub-organizations in GGI, understand their data model, and provide recommendations to them to operate safety on their data, and solve difficult problems involving data architecture, conformance and quality.

Responsibilities - Collaborate with senior leadership in GGI, cross-functional teams to collect requirements, and define product and key user journeys.
- Lead the technical design and execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with the long-term data architecture strategy.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production support.
- Identify and advocate for improvements to data quality, system architecture, and engineering practices within GGI.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
