Full Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of scalable and efficient microservices architecture for our applications by applying cloud native solutions. You will work closely with product management, development, architecture and operations team to ensure the best practices in microservices design and development and also mentor the junior developers.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8+ years progressive professional fullstack enterprise application development experience with Java, React, C# .Net
  • Minimum 3+ years cloud development experience and also utilizing various GCP services like Metrics Explorer, CloudSQL among others.
  • 2+ year's experience on PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
  • Experience in developing, configuration and troubleshooting of applications on Cloud platforms
  • Experience in deploying an application on Cloud using Kubernetes Engine, etc.
  • Experience working with: Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.
  • Working experience in: Maven, Git, DevOps, etc.
  • 5+ years' experience developing microservices and messaging based applications, preferably using Kafka and Google Pub/SuAdvanced technical degree and/or related training a plus
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience across multiple platforms • 2+ years of development experience on Google Cloud Platform, specifically in Istio, GKE, Pub/Sub, IAM services
• Experience in using PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
• Strong knowledge in IAM, Single-SignOn implementations with OAuth specifications focusing on Auth0 and/or Okta based implementations.
• 2+ years of experience using Spring Framework 5.0 or later and with Spring Boot
• Experience with cloud service monitoring, observability tools and creating performance metrics dashboards
• APIGEE experience
• Intimate knowledge with Maven, git and CI/CD pipelines focusing on GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Harness and ArgoCD
• Exposure to digital asset management systems like AEM and ACS.
• REST API development experience
• Experience working with large datasets using PostgreSQL in the GCP infrastructure
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation level
• Experience in automated testing tools like Selenium, Playwright or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills and proven track record of leading teams and mentoring junior developers

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
