You'll architect and maintain Elasticsearch clusters, develop high-performance APIs in Go, and ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and responsive at large scale.

This role blends hands-on development with supportive technical leadership, contributing to architecture decisions and offering guidance to engineers as they build a fast, dependable, and impactful search experience for our clients.

Primary Tech Stack: Go, Typescript, Elastic, AWS (Cloudwatch, SQS, Lambdas), Java, MSSQL, AWS Redshift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in back-end development to meet our product's evolving needs, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
  • Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from conception to deployment, refinement, and scaling.
  • Design, implement, and maintain ElasticSearch environments, aligning with the product's performance and scalability requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and other team members to deeply understand and address user needs and business objectives.
  • Uphold high standards in software development with a focus on clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous refinement of our development processes.
  • Foster a culture of ownership where team members feel empowered and accountable for their contributions.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7-10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in computer science
  • 3+ years of recent ElasticSearch experience or similar
  • Capability to design and work with complex systems and high-load services.
  • In-depth knowledge of ElasticSearch and familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in Golang development or a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Solid foundation in computing theory, including OOP principles, database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL), and network interactions.
  • Experience with REST API development, web application frameworks, testing frameworks, and version control systems (GIT).
  • Proficiency in Python, PHP, or JavaScript (Node.js), Java, particularly in building scalable, high-load services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.
  • Practical communication skills in English for working in an international team environment.

Preferred Experience:
  • Background in Laravel, Symfony Framework, or other significant frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience or certifications in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of orchestration and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest industry trends.
