In this high-impact role, you will be the subject matter expert and thought leader for how organizations protect sensitive data wherever people work, communicate, and collaborate. You will drive the narrative for helping customers prevent data loss, reduce insider risk, support compliance, and enable secure productivity across endpoints, email, SaaS applications, and cloud environments. You'll work cross-functionally with product management, sales, strategic partners, and marketing to deliver differentiated positioning, impactful Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, and sales enablement.

Your Day to Day
  • Develop strategic positioning and messaging for Proofpoint DLP across endpoint, email, and cloud, anchored in customer needs around data protection, compliance, and secure productivity.
  • Own GTM strategy and launch planning for new DLP capabilities, partnering with product, sales, channel, and demand teams to drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption.
  • Create high-impact content across solution briefs, web pages, presentations, webinars, demo scripts, blogs, and customer-facing materials.
  • Build sales and partner enablement, including playbooks, battlecards, objection handling, discovery questions, competitive guidance, and talk tracks.
  • Track market, buyer, and competitive trends across DLP, insider risk, cloud data security, and adjacent data protection categories.
  • Serve as a DLP subject matter expert in sales trainings, customer briefings, field events, analyst conversations, webinars, and executive presentations.
  • Partner with product and field teams to translate customer insights, use cases, and adoption patterns into sharper messaging, stronger launches, and more effective GTM.

What you bring to the team
  • 12 + years in product marketing for cybersecurity, data security, DLP, insider risk, email security, endpoint security, cloud security, or related enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of DLP use cases across endpoint, email, cloud, SaaS applications, data classification, policy management, compliance, and incident response.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, customer-centric messaging for security, risk, compliance, IT, and executive audiences.
  • Experience leading GTM strategy, launches, sales enablement, and campaign planning for enterprise security solutions.
  • Strong market and competitive analysis skills, with the ability to turn insights into positioning, sales guidance, and product feedback.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across executive briefings, analyst conversations, webinars, customer meetings, and industry events.
  • Collaborative, analytical, and execution-focused, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive measurable business impact.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a technical concentration or MBA is a plus.
