Full Job Description
The Cribl Product Management team sits at the center of the entire company, responsible for ensuring that the product strategy and execution aligns closely with our customers' needs and company values. Product Managers at Cribl are more than just backlog babysitters, we go beyond delivery of features and ensure that we are creating value, lowering barriers of entry and accelerating adoption through the entire customer journey.

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to be a part of the Core Search foundation team. You will play a key part in driving the vision and effective delivery of development and sales. Your focus will be on collecting customer and partner feedback, prioritizing feature asks and bugs, and enabling successful delivery of customer use cases for the primary Search platform, including Federated, Metric, and Lakehouse search. You will also work with marketing and the field to enable technical training, new product features and launches, and new customer value messaging.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...
  • Iterate with PM leads as well as peer PMs to prioritize features and present a coordinated roadmap across multiple dimensions of product and functionality
  • Negotiate with Engineering Management for feature prioritization in the context of available of resources and competing requests
  • Present roadmaps and investigate use cases with customers and partners
  • Triage and prioritize incoming feature requests, bug reports, and project ideas
  • Maintain development team backlog in light of company strategy and team goals
  • Maintain status visibility with leadership and stakeholders across the company
  • Understand and communicate the fiscal cost-benefit and license impact of specific integrations
  • Work with marketing and customer success to establish clear "golden path" use cases and enable the field with these materials
  • Develop and deliver public resources (videos, blogs, talks) supporting the product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fill gaps in product offering or product enablement.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of integrations through product metrics and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Search integrations, providing proactive assistance and expertise to elevate team performance.
  • We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours.

If You've Got It - We Want It:
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing Product Management role with experience in one or more of the following areas: observability, metrics, analytics, cyber security, big data system integrations or SaaS.
  • Strong experience working with big data / analytics products with query languages such as SQL, KQL, SPL, or other analytics languages and platforms
  • Experience with and understanding of challenges of working with data at the Terabyte and Petabyte scale
  • Understanding of network protocols used for data transport, and data structures used for data processing and storage
  • Experience with the Agile development methodology and proven ability to work within the Atlassian suite of products, especially Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven ability to manage delivery and maintenance of complex data integration systems that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements and technical concepts into actionable requirements.
  • Experience collaborating across departments, including Sales, Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
  • Experience with a free Cribl sandbox.
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location and will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In addition to base salary, for sales and some sales-adjacent roles, employees are eligible to earn incentive compensation (commission). For all other roles, employees are eligible to participate in the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program.

Base Salary Range

$190,000-$230,000 USD
