About our Staff Physician positionA board-certified/board-eligible physician with demonstrated clinical expertise and a strong commitment to reproductive justice. This outpatient-based physician will provide comprehensive reproductive health services including contraception and family planning, miscarriage and abortion care where allowable, advanced gynecologic care, pelvic ultrasound with interpretation, and gender-affirming hormone therapy. The physician will also serve as a clinical leader and mentor for affiliate advanced practice clinicians (APCs), supporting high-quality, evidence-based care across the health center network.

• Participates in the delivery of services by providing medication and procedural abortions, family planning, and other sexual are reproductive health as scheduled.
• Contributes to the affiliate's commitment to quality, patient-centered and trauma informed care.
Major ResponsibilitiesClinical care inclusive of, but not limited to
• Family planning
• Gender Affirming care
• Difficult contraception
• Advanced gynecology
• Colposcopy, and LEEP
• Obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound
• Miscarriage management (medical and aspiration)
• Abortion care where allowable, inclusive of D&E to 28 weeks, and feticidal injection
• Vasectomy (opportunity for training)
• Travel to other affiliate states to provide clinical services may be requested
Mentorship & Oversight:
• Provide clinical oversight, education, and mentorship to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse-midwives across assigned clinics.
• Participate in routine chart review, quality improvement activities, and continuing education for APCs.
• Serve as a resource for case consultation
• Supports the training activities for internal staff, and external students and medical residents.
Collaboration & Systems Leadership:
• Work closely with clinical operations, medical leadership, and quality teams to support efficient, equitable, and safe care delivery.
• Participate in affiliate-wide initiatives to improve access, reduce disparities, and align with national best practices.
Operations and Quality
• Rotates on-call with the affiliate physician leadership.
• Supports the achievement of productivity and financial objectives of Clinical Services and affiliate.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with universal precautions, WISHA, CLIA, PPFA, and affiliate policies and procedures.
• Fosters a collaborative environment
• Adheres to the state, regulatory, and affiliate code of conduct and all policies, procedures and protocols.
• Demonstrates and maintains a high degree of professionalism.
• Supports efficient and patient-centered health center operations with a collaborative and solutions oriented practice pattern.
Minimum Qualifications: • MD/DO with completion of accredited residency required
• Complex Family Planning Fellowship preferred
Certifications• BLS
• ACLS
• Borad Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board Certification (board eligible) in Complex Family Planning, preferred
Experience• Completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology
• Preferred completion of fellowship in Complex Family Planning
• Proficiency in early pregnancy ultrasound
• Proficiency with Dilation and Evacuation at least through 24 weeks, 28 weeks preferred
• Preferred experience in intracardiac feticidal injection
• Experience with out-patient gynecologic procedures (difficult IUD and implant, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, LEEP)
License• MD/DO in Washington state and ability to be licensed in remaining PPGNHAIK locations
• DEA (or ability to secure) in Washington state and ability to secure DEA in remaining PPGNHAIK locations as requested
Work Environment & Travel:• Clinical work primarily based in regional affiliate health centers but travel to other affiliate locations may be required
• Participation in rotating on-call or telehealth coverage may be required
Salary Range:$107,063 - $233,919
