Full Job Description
Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Summary:
The Sr. Systems Analyst supports the operations of the financial systems and technologies that support Wellstar, including Workday, UKG, and OnBase. This role includes supporting system upgrades, ensuring data integrity, resolving user issues, and optimizing financial system processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation and other technical solutions. Serving as a vital link between Finance and other key stakeholder groups, this role will provide system consultation, guidance, and support. In kind, this role serves as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for various functional areas within Workday which may include Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Treasury, and Financial Reporting. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Identification of Operational and System Requirements * Supports the Finance team and other teams as applicable with configuration changes in Workday and other applications (ex: UKG, OnBase) used by Finance. * Recommends process changes and innovative solutions to improve user experience and customer service; may take lead on Finance Applications product changes. * Partners with IT resources on Finance Applications and third-party consulting firms by initiating cases, testing changes, reviewing business process changes, and approving for production, etc. * Coordinates required System updates, enhancements, testing, validation and overall performance of the system. * Communicates cases and project status with users and ensures timely response and resolution of all issues. Monitor System Integrity * Maintains data integrity in the Workday Finance workstreams. * Successfully completes requests for data correction, organization moves, position updates; as well as any other finance applications related requests. * Assumes the role of Finance Systems Administrator for Workday Finance workstreams. * Troubleshoot and independently resolves all issues resulting from process breakdowns. System utilization * Supports the Finance team members during the month-end close and maintaining the close schedule in Workday. * Supports and maintains the FDM structure, which may include, ledger accounts, spend categories, cost centers, locations, companies, and cost center managers. * Acts as backup to the maintenance, running and troubleshooting of allocations and EIBs. * Asist with creating or loading EIB files in Workday for processing and data validation as needed. Mentor/train System users * Trains new Finance team users on Workday functionality (including system security, user access and system changes) by creating and utilizing job aids and various documents. * Identifies and creates General Ledger user job aids as needed for employees. * Partners with Finance leaders and other stakeholders to develop and enabled solutions by providing functional and technical requirements, implementing solutions and coordinate or lead projects as needed. * Performs additional duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. Required Minimum Education:
  • Bachelors Accounting or Bachelors Finance or Bachelors Information Technology or Bachelors Other / Related Field
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
    Additional License(s) and Certification(s): Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years work experience in technology and/or healthcare Required and Required Minimum Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems and/or Workday Finance Workstreams High Project/resource planning, strong written and verbal communication skills.
