Staff Nurse - RN - the Horizon Program/4N - Evenings

As a Staff Nurse, you will provide safe, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. In this critical role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, promote recovery, support patients and families, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.

This position requires clinical expertise, compassion, strong critical thinking skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. You'll thrive in an environment that supports professional development, leadership, teamwork, and innovation while empowering nurses to deliver exceptional care.

Schedule: Full-time, evenings (11am - 11:30 pm) three 12-hour shifts plus an additional 8 hours biweekly, including rotating weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Westchester Behavioral Health.

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of previous experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing
• Nursing Certifications

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license
• BCLS certification (from accredited AHA org)
• Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate
• Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science & current health care environment
• Knowledge of customer service principle & effective interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of use of computer applications
• Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care

Salary Range:

$133,595-$153,220/Annual
