The opportunity
Are you a systems thinker passionate about crafting AI-powered creative experiences on mobile? The Adobe Firefly design team seeks a Staff Product Designer to build the next generation of GenAI creativity tools for native mobile platforms, focusing mainly on iOS, Android, and mobile web.
You'll work closely with engineers, scientists, and product leaders to develop intuitive, scalable AI experiences that accelerate creativity rather than replace it. This role plays a key part in determining how Firefly presents itself on mobile-today and into the future.
What you'll do
- Proven experience crafting native mobile products
- Hands on experience with products powered by artificial intelligence or generative AI
- Strong background in creative tooling for imagery, video, and/or audio
- Track record shipping complex, high quality consumer products
- Expertise with Claude, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and product storytelling skills
What you need to succeed
- 6+ years of a proven track record designing and shipping iOS and Android apps with strong visual craft and systems thinking
- Experience designing for mobile web
- Experience leading design for complex products and launching them at scale
- Mastery of Figma and fluency with modern prototyping and AI-assisted design tools
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across disciplines and seniority levels
- A collaborative instinct and genuine enthusiasm for working across many teams and subject areas
- College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or a related field
- Experience designing for mobile productivity, AI-first applications experiences
- Ownership in application acquisition strategy, SEO, and Growth design

Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,300 -- $274,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $189,400 - $274,300
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
