Full Job Description
Hyve Solutions is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Software & Test Lead to lead manufacturing test and software architecture from end to end. This role develops and deploys scalable test solutions, frameworks, and automation for board, system, and rack level products from NPI through high-volume production.

The role combines deep manufacturing test expertise with software architecture leadership to deliver reliable, scalable, data-driven factory test systems across global manufacturing sites.

Core Responsibilities

Manufacturing Test & Software Architecture

  • Define and own end-to-end manufacturing test architecture and supporting software systems, including:


  • Test execution frameworks and orchestration


  • Device control, provisioning, and configuration


  • Data pipelines, logging, and analytics systems


  • Define a modular, scalable, and maintainable manufacturing software architecture, and ensure consistent, "copy exactly" execution across all manufacturing sites


  • Drive design-for-testability (DFT) requirements into product designs


Board, System, and Rack-Level Manufacturing

  • Architect board level, system level, and rack level test cases/content


  • Lead system-level testing development including firmware, BIOS/BMC, OS bring-up, and HW/SW interaction


  • Define rack-level and multi-node test strategies for integration


  • Enable efficient fault isolation, debug, and yield improvement in production


  • Drive continuous improvement based on factory feedback, yield data learning


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.


  • Experience:


  • 8+ years in manufacturing test, automation, or system/software architecture and development


  • Board, system, and rack-level manufacturing test


  • Test frameworks, automation, and factory software systems


  • Software architecture and development (Python, C/C++, Java, or similar)


  • Strong understanding of HW/SW integration and production debug


  • Experience deploying solutions in high-volume manufacturing environments


  • Communication & Leadership Expectations


  • Communicate clearly and effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and customers


  • Drive alignment across teams and stakeholders, including cross-functional organizations
