We are positioned to deliver a one-of-a-kind media experience combining the most compelling video content in immersive environments. YouTube is currently available to owners of multiple companies. We are also shaping the future of YouTube experiences on forthcoming glasses hardware.
As UX Design Lead for YouTube XR, you will be fully responsible for creating scalable and beautiful design systems across YouTube XR platforms. This includes areas like Video-on-Demand, Shorts, 360° and other immersive content. You will be the go-to UX design voice for all things YouTube XR, working closely with Engineering and PM XR leadership.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities - Develop patterns and frameworks that can be leveraged across YouTube XR platforms, appropriate to both YouTube's design system and native XR platforms.
- Establish UX strategies that reinforce user-centered mental models for new features .
- Translate, evolve and expand YouTube's emerging design system to make it usable, delightful and beautiful on high-end XR platforms.
- Build strong relationships and effective communication channels across the organization, including Android XR, YouTube Design Systems, and beyond.
- Be a constant source of design inspiration across YouTube UX.
