Full Job Description
Various worksites-job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics' offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

We are actively looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer with excellent technical expertise who is interested in joining our growing team. Join our bright engineering team with open communication, empowerment, innovation, and customer-centric culture.

Essential functions
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Pulumi.
• Ensure reliability of ETL and data streaming pipelines.
• Develop internal automation tools in Python to improve efficiency.
• Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance.
• Implement and improve observability solutions using Prometheus and other monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to optimize deployment processes.
• Conduct technical interviews, assessments, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Direct supervision of approximately five DevOps Engineers.
• Various worksites-job may allow for remote work, job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics' offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Qualifications
• Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• At least ONE (1) year of experience in the job offered or at least ONE (1) year of experience in the following:

1. Developing and optimizing automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring ETL reliability, provisioning cloud resources, conducting end-to-end infrastructure testing, enhancing observability and monitoring, designing informational systems, and optimizing costs.
