Pay:
  • Hourly: $43.43
  • Annual: $90,329.28

Responsibilities - What you'll do

Examples of Work:
  • Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate the nursing in-service and training program under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DNS)
  • Work in collaboration with DNS and Unit Manager to provide outcome-focused and continuing education
  • Coordinate mandated and in-service training for all team members
  • Orient new hire orientation and serve as mentor for first 30 days
  • Conduct/coordinate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and CPR training
  • Maintain all training records
  • Apply principles of adult learning and use audio-visual equipment as needed
  • Perform clinical nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice

  • Current licensure from Missouri Board of Nursing, in good standing, as a:
    • Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience and
    • At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility required within past 5 years
  • Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor
