In the Amazon Global Payouts team, we're embarking on an ambitious journey to transform our global payouts architecture. As we advance into the next generation of payouts capabilities, we're seeking an exceptional Engineering Leader to join us in revolutionizing how Amazon handles payouts worldwide.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of modernizing our Payments APIs and developing cutting-edge payout systems that serve millions of Amazon's sellers, vendors, and partners globally. This isn't just about maintaining existing systems - it's about reimagining and rebuilding critical financial infrastructure that will power Amazon's worldwide operations for years to come.

Key job responsibilities

- As a Sr. TPM, you will collaborate closely with a team of software development managers, product managers and engineers to deliver new solutions into production.

- You will be responsible for creating the roadmap and project plan, creating metrics to measure velocity and progress, reporting to leadership, and coordinating and aligning stakeholders to a single vision.

- You will help make important important tradeoff decisions with product, science, and engineering. You will help us move quickly, look for simplifications and identify blockers early.

- You'll own and improve the mechanisms we use to track goals, status, and business metrics across teams.

About the team

The Global Payouts organization enable Amazon Businesses to send payments to beneficiaries (Seller, Flex, Vendors, etc.) World Wide. We develop highly available, secure and resilient systems to disburse millions of transaction integrating with banking partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 3+ years of software development experience

- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
