THE TEAMThe AECG - Embedded Team builds and optimizes platforms for embedded and commercial applications, working across silicon, firmware, and software to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions at scale.
THE ROLE:In this high-impact role, you will lead third-party IP licensing, business operations, strategic vendor partnerships, financial planning, and cross-functional program execution supporting advanced semiconductor product development. You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to drive technology investments, manage commercial engagements, and ensure successful execution of strategic supplier and IP initiatives.
You will serve as a key liaison between technical and business organizations, providing leadership across licensing strategy, financial planning, contract management, vendor governance, operational excellence, and long-range planning while helping enable successful delivery of critical technology programs.

You possess exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and are comfortable operating across Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Management, and external supplier organizations. You are an effective communicator who can influence decisions, manage competing priorities, and successfully drive initiatives from concept through execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead third-party IP licensing and strategic supplier engagements, including technology evaluations, commercial negotiations, contract execution, renewals, royalty obligations, maintenance agreements, and ongoing vendor relationship management.
- Drive business operations, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and investment analysis to support technology roadmaps, licensing decisions, and executive decision-making.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that evaluate licensing strategies, supplier proposals, technology investments, and long-term business impacts.
- Manage contract lifecycle processes, including NDAs, license agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and support renewals while ensuring compliance with internal governance processes.
- Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Operations, Supply Planning, and external technology partners to ensure alignment with product and technology roadmaps.
- Establish and drive program governance, operational processes, reporting frameworks, executive communications, and risk management activities, including plans of record, schedules, financial tracking, dashboards, business reviews, and strategic recommendations that enhance organizational visibility, decision-making, and execution.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Experience in semiconductor product development, engineering operations, technology partnerships, business operations, finance, strategic sourcing, program management, or IP licensing.
- Familiarity with intellectual property licensing, royalty-based business models, supplier negotiations, maintenance agreements, and technology partnerships.
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and long-range planning experience.
- Experience developing financial models, business cases, and what-if scenario analyses to support strategic investment decisions.
- Understanding of semiconductor product development lifecycles, manufacturing cost drivers, supply chain dynamics, and third-party IP integration processes.
- Experience managing commercial agreements involving semiconductor IP, software, engineering services, or strategic technology partnerships.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders, leveraging strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Experience developing financial models, business analytics, executive dashboards, and reporting solutions using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to support strategic decision-making in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Engineering, finance, business operations, technology licensing, supply chain, strategic sourcing, or product planning background preferred.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:- Bachelor's degree in engineering required - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Master's degree, MBA, Engineering Management, Finance, or related advanced degree preferred.
