Looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to scope and deliver large technical initiatives, working in close collaboration with the engineering, science, and product teams. In this role you will be primarily responsible for building and leading a data sourcing program. You will own building out the business case, data assessment, prioritization, contractual processes, and overall vendor management.
You will be expected to dive into Agentic offerings like Quick to further enhance the end to end data sourcing processes, and partner with our stakeholders to enable them to use our data effectively, and with ease.
As a Sr. TPM, you will be expected to make tradeoffs, manage risks and constraints, and use high judgement to prioritize initiatives and tasks.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and own the data sourcing and vendor management program
- Work with the product management and engineering teams to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks
- Own status update mechanisms like weekly business and metrics reviews
- Collaborate with product stakeholders across multiple business and technical teams to deliver product goals and milestones
- Be an impassioned voice for our customers - AWS's world-class selling and field teams - and ensure we are providing customer-obsessed experiences for them when they interact with our product
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of data sourcing and vendor management
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
