Full Job Description
About the Role
At Knotch, we believe the traditional lines between Product Management and Engineering are disappearing, and the speed of execution is everything. We are looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager/Product Builder who is fundamentally AI-native across the entire product lifecycle.

You will leverage AI as a relentless force multiplier for your daily workflows. From using LLMs to synthesize client interviews, to instantly generating PRDs, to firing up Cursor to build prototypes - you own the end-to-end 0-to-1 process. Once your MVP has proven its value, you will partner with our core engineering team to scale it into a production-grade feature. If you are a strategic product leader who views AI as your ultimate execution engine, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • AI-Driven Discovery & Synthesis: Use AI tools to ingest, categorize, and extract actionable insights from customer calls, support tickets, and market data.
  • Accelerate Product Strategy & Documentation: Leverage AI to rapidly draft PRDs, user stories, strategic roadmaps, presentations and GTM plans, moving from a blank page to cross-functional alignment in record time.
  • Build Rapid Prototypes: Use AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Bolt, or V0 to "vibe-code," build, and ship functional early-stage solutions and MVPs directly to users.
  • Automate the Product Lifecycle: Apply AI workflows to streamline core PM responsibilities, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and asynchronous stakeholder updates.
  • Bridge the Handoff: Translate your validated prototypes and AI-synthesized user learnings into clear technical architectures, working closely with Product Engineers to review and scale the solution for the masses.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experiencein Product Management, specifically with a track record of taking complex software products from 0 to 1 within SaaS startup or growth-stage environments (marketing or digital analytics experience is considered an asset).
  • Advanced prompt engineering skills to synthesize user data, automate documentation, and conduct market research, paired seamlessly with hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code) to generate code and build rapid prototypes.
  • Exceptional ability to conduct human-led user interviews, extracting the root problems that you will later feed into your AI workflows for synthesis.

How to Be Successful

  • AI is your default operating system: you instinctively use it to accelerate everything from discovery and synthesis to prototyping and documentation, dramatically increasing your speed and leverage.
  • You think like a builder, not just a PM: you're comfortable getting hands-on with AI coding tools to bring ideas to life, rapidly testing and iterating on MVPs before handing off for scale.
  • You balance speed with clarity: you can move from ambiguity to structured thinking quickly, translating insights into clear product direction, technical requirements, and aligned teams.
  • You stay deeply customer-centric: you pair AI-driven workflows with strong intuition and empathy, ensuring what you build actually solves real user problems.

Why Join Knotch
At Knotch, you won't just manage products - you'll build them end-to-end in an environment where speed, ownership, and AI-native thinking are core to how we operate. You'll work at the intersection of product and engineering, using AI tools to go from idea to MVP faster than traditional teams ever could. This is a place for builders who want to redefine how products get made, with the autonomy to create, the support to scale, and the opportunity to shape the next chapter of an AI-first company.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $160,000-$180,000 USD depending on skills and experience.

Our Benefits and Perks

Knotch is a fully remote company. Candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S., with EST timezone strongly preferred.

Some of our other great benefits include:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility
  • 401(k) plan
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 10+ company-paid holidays
  • A daily company-wide break, and more!
