Job Description

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to focus on Engineering and technical hiring across the business. In this role, you'll partner with technical leadership to develop effective recruiting strategies, identify high quality talent, and guide candidates through a seamless hiring process. You'll balance urgency with thoughtful decision making to help Applied continue building the strong, high performing teams that drive long term success. 

What You'll Do 

  • Partner with Engineering and technical leadership as a trusted recruiting advisor, developing a deep understanding of hiring needs and providing strategic guidance on recruiting best practices 
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and onboarding, delivering a positive and consistent candidate experience 
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of technical talent to support both current hiring needs and long term growth 
  • Advise hiring managers on market dynamics, compensation insights, and effective talent acquisition strategies 
  • Lead sourcing initiatives to engage top tier, passive candidates across Engineering and other technical disciplines 
  • Use recruiting metrics and market data to provide insights on pipeline health, hiring progress, time to fill, and other key performance indicators 
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience 
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), maintaining a high standard of system hygiene 
  • Mentor and support other team members to elevate overall recruiting performance and execution 
  • Collaborate closely with Total Rewards, People Operations, HR Business Partners, and other cross functional teams to support successful hiring outcomes 

What You'll Bring 

  • 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience, with a focus on Engineering hiring in a technology organization 
  • Experience recruiting across a range of technical functions, with the flexibility to support shifting hiring needs 
  • Proven track record building strong technical teams and operating with discipline in a scaling organization 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with hiring managers and influence hiring decisions through data, market insights, and sound judgment 
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience developing talent pipelines for difficult to fill positions 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with strong attention to detail 
  • A collaborative, low ego approach and the ability to manage multiple searches with consistency and follow through 
  • Experience mentoring teammates and leading by example 
  • Strong awareness of market trends and the broader talent landscape within technology
