The Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager drives world-class business development with leading technology companies to enable rapid innovation and growth for the business. The company for Business Strategy team works with executive leaders from across the company to build the business strategy. Leveraging deep problem solving and partnership skills, the team delivers insights and supports leaders in making critical strategic partnership decisions. The Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager has an exciting role as a key member of the team and has significant authority and accountability.
They drive strategic partnerships and related business strategies vital to the business. They structure and execute partnerships with third-party technology companies and foster innovation and growth across a range of mobile industry sectors, building effective relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders and helping to drive the strategy and execution for key components of the TFB product portfolio.
The Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager is expected to drive meaningful business impact and results, utilizing competencies in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing to deliver high impact results. The Sr. Strategic Partnership Manager operationally supports partnerships through activities such as contract operationalization, managing partner programs and audits, interfacing Procurement, Legal, and Contract Management teams, and coordinating logistics for quarterly business reviews (QBRs), marketing events, and executive briefs.
Job Responsibilities
Provides thought leadership through the identification, evaluation, and execution of new business opportunities through strategic partnerships for defined third party companies on behalf of TFB. In concert with technology partners and internal stakeholders, leads the analysis of complex customer/market/business opportunities, assessment of key players and technologies, development of differentiated product/service strategies, creation of financial/business models, and, most importantly, development of commercial structures and enablement paths to create new and evolve existing relationships with strategic partners.
Structures and drives strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms. Partners closely with Procurement, Legal and other teams in negotiating and executing contracts with technology partners, along with close coordination with Product and go-to-market teams in integrating and operationalizing for frontline sales and support teams.
Manages senior-level relationships internally and externally with key players in the mobile industry, in both established and emerging segments and ecosystems, in formulating and creatively evolving strategic partnerships.
Develops product portfolio expertise in domains vital to the company's core growth strategies. Formulates recommendations and leads pursuit of new opportunities, technologies, business models etc., by effectively managing and driving partner programs across joint cross-functional teams.
Builds strong and trusted relationships with designated strategic partners. Adept at working well with small and large firms and equally effective in pursuing work at varying levels within these companies, including up to C-level executives.
Works with TFB Strategy team members to deliver against identified priorities (notably revenue and subscriber acquisition targets) for both short term and long-term objectives.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
7-10 years business development, partnership management or alliance management experience in wireless, high-tech (software, hardware, systems integration, managed services, internet/new media, etc.) or consumer electronics industries (Required)
4-7 years experience in program management, driving complex initiatives across a large group of stakeholders (internal and external) (Required)
4-7 years experience in scoping, structuring, negotiating and facilitating the operationalization of complex contracts to include SOWs, amendments, MOUs, resell/managed service agreements, and other related agreements (Required)
2-4 years experience in proactively and thoughtfully managing a portfolio of external technology partners across the partnership lifecycle (Required)
