This is a pivotal role as we are at a key inflection point of finding and driving scale into our operator function. You will drive the transformation of Addepar's Data Operations, scaling efficiency and performance across all core domains: Market Data, Portfolio Data, Custodial Feeds Onboarding, IBOR, and Alternative Investments. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $142,000 - $223,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You'll Do- Drive and oversee complex transformation projects across all Data Operations domains, moving the organization from manual, reactive processes to proactive, exception-based workflows
- Design and implement process improvements, scalable workflows, and automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI tooling, LLMs, and modern data management platforms to drastically reduce operational friction and cycle times.
- Partner closely with Data Engineering, Client Services and Product teams to translate operational transformation requirements into scalable technical roadmaps
- Formulate KPIs and metrics to measure the success, impact, and ROI of transformation initiatives.
- Lead the cultural and operational shifts required to adopt new tools, ensuring seamless transitions and high adoption across traditional operational teams
- Act as a force multiplier by mentoring team members, fostering a continuous-improvement mindset, and serving as a subject matter expert for operational excellence
Who You Are- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in data operations, financial services technology, or consulting, with a proven track record of leading complex operational improvements.
- Deep functional knowledge of specified data operations domains
- Hands on experience leveraging AI/ML tools, Prompt Engineering, or LLMs to optimize data workflows and automate repetitive operational tasks
- Ability to look at complex data ecosystems, identify systemic bottlenecks and anticipate future capacity constraints
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and control landscapes surrounding financial data, ensuring transformation efforts preserve data integrity and security
- Skilled at constructively challenging the status quo and distilling complex technical architecture into clear, business oriented value propositions for stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and drive results without constant supervision in a fast-paced environment
