Job DescriptionThis is a remote role open in the US only.
What will you do?The AI & Data Architect will define and govern the technical blueprint for enterprise AI and data ecosystems. This role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, reusable, and aligned with enterprise standards across GenAI, analytics, and intelligent automation initiatives.
This is a strategic role balancing architecture leadership with practical execution guidance
Key Responsibilities- Define enterprise architecture patterns for GenAI (RAG, agents, orchestration frameworks), Data platforms (lakehouse/warehouse architectures) and API/microservices-based integrations
- Establish standards for scalability, reliability, cost optimization, and observability.
- Lead governance for AI systems, including data privacy and compliance.
- Create reusable frameworks and reference architectures for squads.
- Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments.
- Guide cloud infrastructure design and infrastructure as code strategies.
- Partner with leadership to shape long term AI and data strategy.
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in enterprise data and AI architecture.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (lakehouse, streaming, data governance).
- Proven experience designing enterprise GenAI architectures.
- Experience defining security, access control, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Good to have skills- Experience with Databricks, Dataiku or vector databases.
- Knowledge of CRM/ERP integration architecture.
- Background in supply chain or commercial analytics ecosystems.
- Experience architecting enterprise RPA (UiPath) platforms.
- Knowledge of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) frameworks combining AI + RPA.
EducationBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000.00-$185,000.00.
