We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Software Engineer to join the new
Project Graph team at Adobe.

In this front-end focused role, you will play a key role in designing and delivering developer-focused features of the Project Graph platform.
What You'll Do- Technical Ownership: Design, implement, and maintain core components of Project Graph, with a focus on web components and developer experience
- Innovation & Impact: Collaborate with engineering leadership to shape and rapidly deliver on a technical vision to address the complex needs of the platform,
- Engineering Excellence: Champion software engineering standards, including code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment.
- Design and Operate at Scale: Lead in the architecture and operation of large-scale, globally distributed systems. Ensure high availability and low latency in enterprise environments.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, lead design reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning across the team.
- Customer Focus: Work closely with product managers and customer-facing teams to understand user needs and translate them into robust technical solutions.
What You NeedTo Succeed- Education: BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience building, testing and operating complex web applications. Experience with node-based systems and enterprise software development is a strong plus.
- Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of modern software development practices. Web components experience (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM) is a must-have.
- Familiarity with Lit, FAST, or similar libraries is welcome-but not a substitute for strong fundamentals
- Experience building developer tooling or extensibility systems is highly desirable
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a data-driven attitude. Ability to break down complex problems and deliver elegant, maintainable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
- Customer Empathy: A strong sense of ownership and a passion for building products that delight users.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
