Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with hands-on experience in full-stack development and some exposure to DevOps practices. You will contribute to building and operating applications that support critical engineering workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who can independently deliver features, understands how systems run in production, and is looking to grow into owning services end-to-end.About the Team
Our Engineering Applications team builds internal tools and platforms that power engineering workflows across the company. These applications enable engineers to run simulations, manage data, and make faster, more informed decisions.
We develop scalable, user-friendly applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Python

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architecture
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, Splunk)
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) effectively
  • Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, or engineering workflows is a plus

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $146,900 - $183,600 for Palo Alto based applications and $135,100 - $168,900 for Irvine based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
