This position is based in our Irvine, California corporate headquarters with the opportunity to work a few days remotely per week.

Ingram Micro is seeking Sr. Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, Microservices, and React.js to design, develop, and deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

The candidate will work closely with global teams, including technical leads, architects', product owners, and other engineering teams to implement scalable solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure timely delivery of assigned features and technical deliverables. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can: Understand Requirements → Develop the Solution → Write Quality Code → Test & Troubleshoot → Collaborate with the Team → Deliver Production-Ready Features.

The candidate should demonstrate strong technical depth, ownership, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days a week in our Irvine, California office and 2 days a week remote.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
• Build responsive and maintainable user interfaces using React.js.
• Implement integrations with internal and external systems using appropriate API and messaging patterns.
• Translate technical requirements and solution designs into high-quality, production-ready code.
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide inputs on implementation approaches.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-tested components following established coding standards and design patterns.
• Perform code reviews, identify potential issues, and contribute to improving code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Write unit and integration tests and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product, and other engineering teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies related to assigned work and proactively communicate them to the Technical Lead.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and processes.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting when required.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or relevant science and math disciplines with an IT emphasis is required.
• 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Good experience developing Microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with API integration and distributed application development.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned technical deliverables.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging platforms.
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with application monitoring, logging, and observability.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
