What You'll Do
- Develop critical data processing workflows, high performance microservices, advertising-related methodologies, and deliver them to production at scale
- Articulate the choice of accurate tools and technologies
- Translate high-level requirements into meaningful tasks and actions
- Optimize distributed microservices and big data applications to reduce cost and improve availability
- Lead sophisticated, large-scale projects in an Agile environment using Java, Jenkins, and Spark
- Collaborate with multi-functional specialists (Product Management, Build, Engineering, etc.) to launch customer-focused solutions
- Communicate clearly with leadership to define goals
- Market ideas across teams and organizations
- Be a technical leader with the ability and desire to mentor other team members
What You Need to Succeed
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of industry software development experience at Lead level or above
- Proven record of delivering highly optimized code in Java/Scala (OOP principles, clean build, and development patterns)
- Practical experience working with Big Data technologies like Spark, Snowflake, and Kafka
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithms
- Deep understanding of modern cloud technologies and patterns for composing "always-up" services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- Unending curiosity, thoroughness, tenacity, and focus on quickly crafting and building sophisticated software systems with great quality to solve customer problems
- Experience with Containers and CI/CD systems (like Argo CD and GitOps or equivalent experience)
- Experience with AEP and Agentic AI is a plus
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $173,500 -- $331,050 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $228,600 - $331,050
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
