Otter Products is hiring for a Sr. Social Media Content Specialist to join our Marketing team in Fort Collins, CO. This role can work a hybrid schedule.

 

As the Sr. Social Media Content Specialist, you will be critical in driving essential company objectives through pitching and creating engaging social media content. You will be responsible for content creation and execution across social media platforms for OtterBox and other business units under the Otter Products umbrella. This role provides the opportunity for you to attend and capture engaging footage while working with influencers, brand ambassadors and in-house and external creative teams to produce social-first content aligned to brand image, strategy and objectives. 

 

This role requires expert-level knowledge across key social platforms, including (but not limited to) Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn, and the ability to capture and edit content optimized for social media marketing. 

Responsibilities

• Create new andoptimizeexisting content toassistin the building of the social media calendar in alignment with overall brand calendars andobjectives.
• Shoot and edit day-to-day content in the form of (but not limited to) photos, graphics, Stories, videos, and GIFs primarily for our social media channels based on brandobjectivesand current social media trends.
• Consistentlyideateand pitch fresh new creative concepts for (but not limited to) Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Collaborate with the Social and Creative teams to understand deliverable expectations, communicate needs, provide updates ontimelinesand problem-solve any issues that arise.
• Assistin the planning and implementation of everyday and long-term social mediastrategyand campaigns.
• Produce social content to beutilizedon social platforms, social commerce,eCommerceand in paid media based on brandobjectivesand current social media trends.
• Attend internal and external events forSocialMedia team, including support in concepting, building shot lists, capturingfootageand creating final content.
• Monitor recent social media topics and trends to evaluate, incorporate and leverage as applicable to brandobjectives.
• Monitor KPIs such as engagement, VCR and reach to evaluate success of social creative campaigns.
• Maintain social content libraries and social media tools to stay current with evolving platforms.
• Work closely with Sr. Manager,Social Mediaon management, briefing and approval of influencer and brand ambassador content.
• Assistwith influencer marketing efforts including, but not limited to, designing influencer mailerboxes and cardsand packaging and distributing seeding kits as needed
• Build and nurture strong relationships with in-house and external Creative teams.
• Light copywritingasneeded.
• Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor27s degree in marketing or equivalent isrequired. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Minimumoffiveyears of professional-level social media marketing experience, with a focus on content creation (graphic design & video) for key social media platforms (Meta, TikTok,Pinterest, YouTube,LinkedInetc.) isrequired.
• Strong design and social portfolio that demonstrates social media design experience. Online portfolio required with candidate submission.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Required.
• Travel up to 25% required.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range MinimumUSD $92,000.00/Yr. For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range MaximumUSD $108,000.00/Yr.
