Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Silicon Design Engineer to Research, design, develop, and/or test electronic components and systems for semiconductor and related device manufacturing, employing knowledge of electronic theory. Perform definition, design, verification, and/or documentation for ASIC, SOC development. Determine architecture design, logic design, and/or system simulation. Architect verification environments for IP and SOC level test benches using UVM verification methodology which uses constrain random verification techniques in System Verilog. Work on verification of Ips involving complex protocols such as PCIe, AXI. Work with design team on code coverage and functional coverage closure. Use scripts in Python for productivity enhancements. Define module interfaces/formats for simulation. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Under supervision, exercise limited judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company products.
