Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a
SrScheduler - Pharmaceutical and Construction to join our team in
Guaynabo, PR.
Our office is in Guaynabo, PR but the position is expected to be full-time collocated at the client's location in Carolina, PR. The position reports to the Construction Manager working directly with the client.
This role will be responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring project timelines to ensure that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
You will coordinate resources, track daily progress, identify potential delays, and communicate schedule adjustments to all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will work closely will project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors. You will be the central point for identifying bottlenecks, forecasting impacts, and ensuring all teams operate in a synchronized manner.
Your role- Develop resource-loaded schedules that accurately map out labor, material and equipment availability.
- Regularly communicate with the field team to verify actual progress against the baseline schedule.
- Identify potential schedule conflicts, or supply chain issues and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and timeline forecasts to executives, clients and contractors.
- Working knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 including milestones, activity codes, calendars, logic, etc.
- Review and develop Oracle-Primavera based schedules and schedule templates.
- Follow written procedures and practices to create and maintain critical path method schedules for Work Program
- Develop standardized P6 reports for Management to assist in review, update and monitoring of schedules.
- Perform scheduling data input/updates including earned-value information and schedule variance analysis.
- Generate monthly reports with status of all existing and new projects.
- Support scheduling training of Project Managers, support staff and others as needed.
About you- Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related engineering field, plus 7 years of relevant experience.
- Background in pharmaceutical, heavy industrial, or hi-tech manufacturing is preferred.
- Must highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- AACE, PMI or CMAA certification is preferred.
- Fluent in MS Excel.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Additional informationExpected compensation range is between $80,000 - $100,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
