Full Job Description
Senior SBA Loan Closer Top National PLP Lender
What You'll Do
Manage the full closing process end-to-end on attorney-prepared SBA loan transactions, including ordering UCCs, appraisals, and all required third-party reports
Prepare and review funding fee sheets, closing statements, and title policy documentation
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers and all related parties - attorneys, title companies, and vendors - throughout the closing process
Identify and resolve documentation issues, compliance gaps, and closing exceptions using sound judgment, even in situations where a defined process does not yet exist
Operate within a newly launched loan origination platform, contributing to how workflows and procedures are built and refined over time
Provide regular pipeline updates to management and participate in continuing education on SBA regulations and SOP requirements
What You Bring
5+ years of direct SBA closing experience
Experience with attorney-prepared loan documentation
Strong working knowledge of SBA SOP requirements, lien perfection, title policy review, and UCC filings
Exceptional critical thinking skills and ability to move a process forward
Comfortable operating in an evolving environment; adaptable, and collaborative
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous closings without sacrificing accuracy or compliance
Proficiency in SBA E-Tran
